Banjir Rob Terjadi di Sebagian Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Tengah

Jakarta – Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) melaksanakan penanganan darurat pasca bencana banjir rob di Pantai Utara Jawa, pada Senin (23/5/2022).

Tingginya muka air laut yang mencapai +210 sentimeter Mdpl (meter di atas permukaan laut) mengakibatkan sebagian wilayah Provinsi Jawa Tengah bagian utara terdampak banjir rob, seperti Kota Semarang, Kota dan Kabupaten Pekalongan, dan Kabupaten Demak.

Staf Ahli Menteri PUPR Bidang Teknologi, Industri dan Lingkungan sekaligus Juru Bicara Kementerian PUPR mengatakan, pasang air laut +210 cm mdpl dapat disebut ekstrim bila dibandingkan catatan pasang surut 5 tahun terakhir (2017 – 2021) dengan muka air pasang tertinggi pada kisaran +180 cm mdpl.

Sementara Kepala Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Pemali Juana Muhammad Adek Rizaldi mengatakan upaya penanganan darurat saat ini telah dilakukan tim Kementerian PUPR di daerah, salah satunya dengan menginventarisasi tanggul yang limpas dan apabila ada yang jebol selanjutnya dipasang geobag atau jumbo bag sebagai tanggul sementara yang kuat menahan air.

“Kita juga telah berkoordinasi dengan Pemerintah Provinsi dan Pemerintah Kota dan Kabupaten untuk rencana penanganan darurat serta melakukan pendataan kawasan terdampak, sekaligus mempersiapkan sarana pengendali banjir seperti pompa air dan bahan banjiran,” kata Adek.

Menurut Adek, banjir rob yang terjadi pada hari ini, khususnya di Kota Semarang bukan diakibatkan oleh kerusakan infrastruktur tanggul rob yang tengah dibangun, melainkan akibat tingginya air pasang. Stasiun Meteorologi Maritim Tanjung Emas Semarang mencatat data hidrologi pasang surut tinggi muka air laut pada pukul 15.00 WIB mencapai +210 cm Mdpl.

“Alhamdulillah sejak tadi malam pukul 22.00 WIB, ketinggian air pada level +162 cm dpl dan sudah menunjukkan trend menurun,” ujar Adek.
